• Engage in communication that is intentional, kind, and meaningful.
• Creatives of all races, abilities, genders, sexualities, body sizes, national origins, and other historically marginalized identities are crucial to our world. Diversity will always be supported, pursued, and intrinsic to the process.
• Capitalism is an innately harmful system. Avoiding it is impossible; we engage in it intentionally with radical desires for community wellness.
• Creatives will change the world as long as we support and give them opportunities to do so.
A note about AI: I am very mindful of the use of AI in my work. When I use AI, I do so sparingly, with intention and awareness. It is important to me (and often my clients) that the work done together comes from people. My work may have errors, typos, and more room for polishing—but it is innately human. Humans are messy creatures, but we are also full of nuance and magic that I never want to lose. Beyond this, I am deeply concerned about the environmental and social impacts of the growing reliance on and utilization of AI.
